In this work I was exploring the idea of conscious and unconscious ‘will’ and how we often feel that we can be going in two different directions within ourselves.
This seen depicts a figure about to set off in an opposite direction to their donkey (both represent a form of will), however, the question of what will actually happen in that moment, and what might happen when we try to decide to go against our ‘will’, remains to be seen.
