Betty Nolan
Betty Nolan is the owner and founder of the Nolan Art Gallery & School. She has qualifications in Art and Education from the University of Newcastle as well as the University of Tasmania. She is committed to connecting those interested in the visual arts with expert art tuition as well as providing a supportive venue for artists to show their work.
She is a painter and sculptor in clay and teaches the kids on Tuesday afternoons.
Felix Nolan
Felix Nolan brings charm and interest to the Gallery, selling work, maintaining web sites, and helping keep the School running.
Josh Lamb
Tutors the Thursday kids for us as well as drawing to our adult classes. Amiable and kind, he is a delight to work with.
Phoebe Webb
is a fine arts graduate from the University of Tasmania. A painter and collagist, Phoebe tutors our adult watercolour sessions as well as the Monday children’s art classes. Term 1 2023 will see begin a new printmaking session.
Jessie Liu
is an artist trained in traditional Chinese ink painting as well as anime illustration and design. In 2023 Jessie will tutor three Children’s Illustration groups on Tuesdays and Thursday.
Caroline McGregor
holds a MFA from Sydney’s City Art Institute. She is a sculptor and painter and will tutor Wednesday Morning Oils and Social Painting Friday for our adult students.
Jake Walker
is an artist and tutor with international experience in the art world. Jake has a PHD in fine arts and is currently teaching Abstraction (his favourite) on Wed morning, Oils on Wed evening and Social Painting on Thursday evening.
Jacquelyn Little
is an artist and tutor specializing in drawing and design who trained at the University of Tasmania. Jacquelyn will tutor our Wednesday After School Art classes in Term 1 2023.
Tony White
is an artist and tutor specializing in exuberant watercolour. Tony tutors internationally as well on the mainland. We are fortunate to have him lead a Fearless Watercolour class for us.
