This work has been 7 years being thought about and worked with, being completed in 2021. In part it follows on from a re-reading of Dickens’ Great Expectations and Miss Haversham’s predicament and partly thinking about the fragile splendour of marriage. I acquired the dress from a Salvos shop in Sydney which also led to a sculpture in 2014
