Tasmanian Gothic painter Elizabeth Barsham and glass sculptor Helene Boyer show work exploring the strange things that live in the understory. In the literal and cultural dim are stories and organisms that are rarely seen and barely acknowledged. This exhibition brings them out into the open, whether they are tiny endangered fungi in the rainforest that might be extinct in the next bushfire or colonial truths too horrible to contemplate. Both artists are collected internationally and we are fortunate to host their latest work.
